It's a nice refreshing album. Love the songs. I would like to have the lyric of "Moving" if anybody out there wish to share it with me :) That would be great! Thanks so much!

I am wrong--my deepest apologies. You are not, in fact, a drive-by snarker. Rock on, my friend, rock on.

come on, you are being a little harsh, i didn't mean to sound so critical! i am sorry if i offended! i just don't agree with you. i have no hipster pretences, and no problem with top 40 or radio airplay. in fact i hope cathy davey gets played more and more on the radio and she thoroughly deserves top 40 success, i hope she gets it. i am not a musical snob and have a soft spot for women who rock! i just don't think KT Tunstall does rock. sorry again, i clearly upset you, i didn't mean that.

I'm personally am a fan of the Cardigans. As inventive as Cathy Davey is, to claim that she simply exists in a vacuum void of any influences is somewhat ridiculous. And to be honest, listen to "Mr. Kill". Then listen to "Erase/Rewind" by the Cardigans. There are definitely some comparisons to be made.

As for KT, I can't teach you--sir maximus--to appreciate a woman who can rock. That will come with time, I'm sure. Dull and bland? Perhaps the hipster pretense with which your comment drips is shrouding your ability to still appreciate music that appears on the radio. I'm not going to champion the top 40 crap, but it's pretty hard to ignore Tunstall for what she's doing.

But you probably wouldn't care about that, maximus--you probably won't even check this thread again (again, the hipster pretense thing--you've got to leave drive-by snarks)--so I suppose this is more for future readers.

is 'sounds more like a B-side from The Cardigans' supposed to be a compliment? cathy davey has far more depth, freshness and originality than the Cardigans, who had a couple of reasonable songs and that's about it. to compare Mr Kill to one of their b-sides is a pretty big insult. and to my mind KT Tunstall is incredibly dull and bland, and not at all like Cathy Davey, except she's a woman, thats about it. This is a great album, i hope no real music lovers are turned off by the comparisons made in this review. it's great, hook-laden, indie pop with tons of heart and soul. if there is any justice it should earn Ms Davey a lot of acclaim and success.
