Zinger, Boyo. I'd love to read your stuff sometime. If you hate my reviews so much, why have you spent so much time reading them?

This review is garbage, and this band has been around longer than John McCain's wrinkles. What is this crap about a "signature sound" and "level of comfort?" Give me a goddamn break. You or any monkey could write that about any Sea and Cake album since 1993 -- or for any album by any band or musicmaker since then, for that matter. Is this album better than Nassau? Funkier than The Fawn? More boring than whatever their last album was called? Should I buy it or steal it off a blog like yours?

Don't quit your day job, my friend. I bet it is subtle, accesible (sic) and has far more to it than what it seems on the surface.

I wholeheartedly agree with this well rounded post. The band displays an extraordinary musical range that can only coagulate with the help of exceptional musical talent.
