I’ll be honest, I don’t really know much about ThemselvesĀ or about Why?
From Pitchfork: “Themselves, the duo of Doseone and Jel, who also worked together in Subtle and collaborated with the Notwist for 13 & God, here team up here with WHY?, whose main man Yoni Wolf was a member of seminal Anticon group cLOUDDEAD with Doseone.”
Well, either way, they’re out with a collaboration on a song called “Canada”, and that it’s getting some serious attention (for good reason!). And I know that remix artist iamxl has done a pretty phat and fat remix of “Canada”. So enjoy.

I thought I’d share some delicious goodies with you today.
1. Jack Splash – “Flashback (ft. Lupe Fiasco”
A funked out, falsetto-rich pop ditty that will have you dancing right along with the dextrous piano.
2. Todd Rundgren – “Hello It’s Me”
Some call him a one hit wonder. No, sir! “Hello It’s Me” is one of those easy-like-Sunday-mornin’ 70s tracks that is sure to please.
3. Rockwell – “Somebody’s Watchin’ Me (feat. Michael Jackson)”
You know the Geico googly eyed money. But how does the gecko feel? What the hell happened to Rockwell?

I’d be lying if I told you that I love Candy Claws’ In the Dream of the Sea Life. But I’d be remiss to not tell you how cool of a concept their album is. As it goes, In the Dream of the Sea Life is a musical companion to the book “The Sea Around Us” by Rachel L Carson back from 1951. The album is covered with delicious ocean sounds recorded in June and October of last year: in San Esteban, Phillippines, and Monterosso, Italy. And if that doesn’t tickle your funny bone, then throw in the fact that the album is produced by the super cool Indiecater Records. They’re so cool, in fact, that they are streaming the entire album on their website! So go and check it out!
